The Deputy Director at Peking University Office of Science and Technology Development, Dr. LI Shi Jie, and four other representatives attended the 8th EU-China Business & Technology Cooperation Fair. The affair has been held on Oct. 21st to 23rd, and the event attracted 3255 Chinese companies and 1572 European companies in total. The Fair provides a dominant cooperation platform in West China for investment, trade and technology between EU and China.
During the B2B session, more than 10,000 bilateral meetings between companies took place through the matchmaking event. And 1/3 of those participants have later followed-up with the meeting and arrived at concrete collaboration model.
Representatives from PKU-OSTD exchanged knowledge with European companies on technology transfer model regarding setting up joint international ventures, and expressed interests in having further discussion with these European companies.
