Foundation of Entrepreneurship Lesson Three:Marketing and Sales Strategies of Entrepreneurship

Introduction

Chance favors those who are well prepared! Last week, we learnt how to identify business opportunities. Now we turn to investigating these opportunities further and making the most of them. Many people have romanticized and simplified the process of entrepreneurship, reckoning that business success can be achieved as long as one has outstanding expertise, entrepreneurial enthusiasm and a dream to hold onto. However, in practice, one normally feels not emboldened enough to grasp a business opportunity when it really comes, for it takes marketing knowledge to exploit on it.

This week we will invite Prof. Yilan Li, professor of Entrepreneurial Management and Marketing Strategy at Peking University to present a lecture on Marketing and Sales Strategies of Entrepreneurship. Prof. Li will present a marketing strategy trilogy from both a theoretical and practical perspective. There will also be a Q&A session.
