OSTD Attends China Beijing International High-Tech Expo (CHITEC)

China Beijing International High-Tech Expo (CHITEC) is a major national hi-tech expo that takes place every May in Beijing. It is an event approved by Chinas State Council, sponsored by Chinas Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (formerly known as Ministry of Information Industry), China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), State Intellectual Property Office and the city government of Beijing, and organized by the Beijing Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
 
CHITEC lasted five days, from 22 to 26, more than 55,000 square meters of exhibition, eight high-end forum, 11 special promotion trading activities will be held.
 
CHITEC "innovation-driven, transformation and development"  is its theme. 11 international organizations from more than 20 countries and regions, more than 50 delegations group made a special trip participants, more than 30 domestic provinces and municipalities to participate fully in groups, more than 2,000 domestic and foreign high-tech companies will be exhibiting.
 
CHITEC will set 14 themed areas, focusing on display in the information technology, biotechnology and medical technology, advanced manufacturing technology, advanced energy technology, modern agricultural technology and other five areas to obtain the 94 key technology breakthroughs in cutting-edge technology achievements.

 
Representatives from the Peking University Office of Science and Technology Development attended the affair, and exchanged potential collaboration models with businesses from all over the world.
