Sanofi China and Peking University Office of Science and Technology Development co-hosted International Drug Development Forum on December 12th 2013 at PKU Lakeview Conference Center. Thirty directors and professors from Peking University Molecular Medicine Center, Faculty of Life Sciences, Faculty of Chemistry, Faculty of Basic Medical Science attended the forum.
Dr. Dongmin Chen, the Director at Office of Science and Technology Development, and Dr. WANG Jing Song, President of Sanofi China Research Centre delivered the forum keynote speech. Dr. Wang briefed the attendees on some of the important milestone achieved in China in the arena of New Drug Development. He also pointed out the strategic direction for the next few years. Dr. Chen introduced to the attendees some of the innovative roles that university can play in transforming the current economic structure of China.
Cell and Molecular Professor Ruiping Xiao presented her project on genetic research. All attendees had a great time exchanging ideas and learning more developmental trends in the field of pharmaceutical and others.
